Alexanders on the Bawdsey Manor Estate, where the River Deben meets the sea.

Alexanders International School is on the Bawdsey Manor Estate in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Suffolk coast.  This area of the United Kingdom is called East Anglia where the climate is one of the best in the country, enjoying many hours of sunshine and fairly dry summers.

This region is particularly noted for its traditional market towns and outstanding examples of historic architecture, cathedrals and churches.  The closest town is Woodbridge, a picturesque and affluent town just 15 minutes from our school.  Nearby Ipswich has good shopping facilities, a large hospital and inter-city train service to London.  The historic cities of Cambridge, Norwich and Colchester are all within one and a half hours of the school.

There are good road links to London Stansted airport (1.5 hours), Heathrow and Gatwick airports (2.5 hours)and to central London by train.
